Network Recruitment Solutions are currently recruiting a Fostering Registered Manager for a newly established Independent Fostering Agency based in the Lewisham area. We are looking to hear from those working at a Fostering Team Manager level and above. This is position is perfect for those seeking an opportunity to help improve and shape the lives of looked after children and foster families. You will also play an important role in providing leadership and support to social workers and staff members.
The Purpose of the Role:
The Registered Manager is accountable for developing and managing the independent fostering agency(IFA) including; managing all aspects of fostering resources and support functions. Working in accordance with the policies and procedures of the IFA, relevant statute and national guidelines. The Registered Manager promotes and ensures that the IFA provides a professional fostering service for local authorities, placing children and young people. The Registered Manager is responsible for working in accordance with current safeguarding and child protection practices, regulations, National Minimum Standards and guidance and in line with Ofsted requirements.
- HCPC registered with a recognised and accredited social work qualification
- Have or be willing to undertake NVQ Level 5 in Leadership
- Knowledge of Ofsted, National Minimum Standards for Fostering Services and Fostering Services Regulations
This position is a full time post (40hrs per week) and the hours will be on a shift basis between 8.00 am - 6.00 pm, unfortunately due to the nature of the business these hours are not flexible. This position is for an immediate start.
